Thoughts are things is a sort of catch-phrase, often referring to manifesting.
What’s important for us to understand for ourselves and also for our very sensitive children, is that thoughts have substance and can actually be physically painful for those who are sensitive.
I know this because it has been a lifelong journey for me to untangle and free myself from lesser thoughtforms and projections, from the temptation to play with, accept as normal, and identify with lesser thoughtforms. These thoughtforms are everywhere around us and aren’t true or real from a divine perspective. But they do have mass, and they can be perceived and felt. They are constructs of the lower nature of humans, and are an important area for us to understand for our personal and collective evolution.
As a personal example, in times of others talking about me without me being present, or someone who might be upset with me, or someone who wants something from me –just to name a few examples–the thoughts they think actually can cause my skin to prickle and sometimes hurt. Even if they are nowhere near me physically. They can be across the country and it doesn’t lessen the severity of impact.
In some cases, with people who are unaware of the impact of their disowned aspects, the pain caused by their angry and fearful thoughts and feelings that they aren’t consciously taking responsibility for can be cacophonous and debilitating. This of course applies to us as well! We also engage with thoughts that may have unintended consequences and must do our inner work. We must integrate our aspects and heal our minds.
I can not stress enough the severity of how painful and debilitating this can be. The people involved are often unaware of their impact and at the conscious level truly believe that they are well-meaning.
And thus we develop compassion for ourselves and others, and take the steps we need to take to create freedom for ourselves and our children. We MUST have compassion for ourselves. Being hard on ourselves is not useful. In my experience, the parents I meet who come to Vibrational Child are wonderful humans. They are willing to do what it takes and look at uncomfortable things.
One reason why the preconception work is so important, is to help mitigate the impact of our own unintegrated aspects on our children. Yes, when they are here so that don’t take that stuff on as we did as kids. But sometimes it’s essential to do this preconception in order to become a resonant match so that the highly evolved children can even be conceived and make their way to you in the first place. Equally as important, in that time before your life is so busy you don’t have time to shower– to develop tools of connection with our own Divine Self and inner guidance system. This way, when your children are here, you can make the best choices possible on their behalf. Making choices in service to your child’s purpose and highest and best outcomes is what every parent I know from Vibrational Child work intends.
Thoughts, whether we consider them to be our own or someone else’s or simply part of the collective consciousness have mass and can and do affect us until we become conscious of them and learn to choose which ones we’ll play with.
The truth is that there are illumined thoughts having to do with our higher mind, and lesser thoughts that can snag us into lesser ways of behaving and relating. These lower thoughts are the ones that can cause a literal din for someone who is sensitive but not yet strong enough to fully choose to the exclusion of all else, their higher mind.
Does your child need to “be evaluated”?
Disclaimer–I am not a doctor or a psychologist.
In a recent private session, I had the pleasure of working with a beloved 2 year old girl and her mother. This child has been having a lot of behavioral issues, and doctors are suggesting that she “needs to be evaluated” because of sounds she is making and other erratic behaviors.
In our session, we helped her mother connect with her own guide, and also we connected with the child’s guide. With the help of the child’s guide we clearly could understand how the thoughts of the child’s father’s lineage were problematic. The way her mother was tempted to engage and play with those thoughts was very similar to a pattern my client’s mother played out with my client’s father and his lineage. Of course, right? It’s familiar so we are drawn to it so we can heal.
The way these lesser thoughts create the emotion of resentment in the family thought matrix was causing the child pain. This was the cause of a whining tone she has been making regularly.
Can you feel the relief in knowing that?
It’s not visible but it’s nonetheless real for the child. Her behavior is normal to try to self-soothe. Her mom and I both had so much love and compassion for her, I personally understand how these thoughts were causing her pain because of my own sensitivity to thoughtforms.
There are things we can do in a session to support the child to dissolve these thoughts and understand what is going on. And the work doesn’t stop there. The mom and dad actually have some work to do as well on their own thoughts and developing their own higher mind and connection with their Divine Self.
You might be sensitive like this little girl and like me and know exactly what I mean. Or you may think this is ridiculous. If the former, you can change this for yourself and for your child! I promise. It’s not necessarily an easy or quick road. It takes intention, commitment, perseverance, humility, compassion, an understanding of your own energy body, your own mind, and the willingness to grow.
If the latter, you think it’s ridiculous. I get it. When we can’t see things or experience them ourselves, they can seem unreal or weird. Likely though, if you are here reading this, you are open to consider new ideas and solutions. And you have zero to lose by considering this.
What can you do?
Ask your Divine Self or high guide of light to help you. Ask this inner knowing what your next step is.
Some ideas: Work with a therapist who can help you untangle your thoughts, emotions, and energy body. I have found cranio-sacral therapy with somato-emotional release to be an essential tool that has helped me tremendously–but you need to engage that work consciously and actively partner with your therapist in any modality.
Start working with any of our self-study courses.
Even the ones that are not specifically designated as Vibrational Child courses.
Forgiveness or Seven Days are great places to start.
Private sessions are available as long as you see the booking link. When I am in deep process with my student groups, I sometimes need to remove that option for the public in order to be fully available for the work our group is engaged in. Privates might seem like the best place to start, and know that a little prep with Seven Days or Welcome to Vibrational Child meditations can go a long way to prepare your energy body and help you get the most from your session time with me.
